School District & Community College Employees. 392. Employees of the San Francisco Unified School District and Community College District appointed to school year only permanent positions and whose employment is subject to interruption because of school vacation shall be considered to have completed the first six (6) months of service for increment purposes when the aggregate working time from the date of appointment totals six (6) months. To qualify for this increment, these employees may not be absent on leave without pay during this period for more than one (1) month of the aggregate working time except as provided in paragraph I . They shall advance to the third step on the next day following the completion of one (1) additional year of service and to each successive step upon completion of required service. Entry at Other Than the First Step
