Common use of SCHOOL DISTRICT RIGHTS Clause in Contracts

SCHOOL DISTRICT RIGHTS. Section 1. Inherent Managerial Rights: The parties recognize that the school board is not required to meet and negotiate on matters of inherent managerial policy, which include, but are not limited to, such areas of discretion or policy as the functions and programs of the employer, its overall budget, utilization of technology, the organizational structure and selection and direction and number of personnel, and that all management rights and management functions not expressly delegated in this Agreement are reserved to the school board. This section shall not be construed to limit the right of the organization to meet and confer with the school district, pursuant to P.E.L.R.A., regarding policies and matters not included under terms and conditions of employment.
