Common use of SCOPE OF ARCHITECT’S BASIC SERVICES Clause in Contracts

SCOPE OF ARCHITECT’S BASIC SERVICES. § 3.1 The Architect’s Basic Services consist of those described in this Article 3 and include usual and customary structural, mechanical, and electrical engineering services necessary to accomplish the Owner’s program and complete the Project. The Architect shall advise the Owner, at the earliest possible date, if it believes that any additional consultants are required to complete the Project. Moreover, the Architect will assist the Owner in the selection of consultants (e.g., a construction manager), where appropriate.

SCOPE OF ARCHITECT’S BASIC SERVICES. § 3.1 The Architect’s Basic Services consist of those described in this Article 3 and those identified in Section 4.1 as the responsibility of the Architect, and include usual and customary structural, mechanical, and electrical engineering services necessary to accomplish services. Services not set forth in this Article 3 or identified in Section 4.1 as the Owner’s program and complete the Project. The Architect shall advise the Owner, at the earliest possible date, if it believes that any additional consultants are required to complete the Project. Moreover, responsibility of the Architect will assist the Owner in the selection of consultants (e.g., a construction manager), where appropriateare Supplemental or Additional Services.

Services not set forth in this Article 3 or Article 12 are Additional Services. All services necessary are to accomplish be provided according to the Owner’s program schedule, attached as Exhibit B, the Procedure Manual for Design and complete Construction, and the ProjectOwner’s Design Standards. The Architect shall advise will not change any of the personnel identified for this Project in its RFQ without first obtaining the Owner, at the earliest possible date, if it believes that any additional consultants are required to complete the Project. Moreover, the Architect will assist the Owner in the selection of consultants (e.g., a construction manager), where appropriate’s written approval.
