Common use of Scope of run-off cover Clause in Contracts

Scope of run-off cover. If run-off cover is provided under clause 5.1, the Insurer will indemnify each Insured in accordance with clauses 1.1 to 1.8 (but subject to the limits, exclusions and conditions of this contract) on the basis that the Period of Insurance extends for an additional six years (ending on the sixth anniversary of the date upon which, but for this requirement, it would have ended).
