Common use of Scope of the Work of the Supervising Firm Clause in Contracts

Scope of the Work of the Supervising Firm. The Supervising Firm will be in charge of the Project supervision, within the framework of the Contract and applicable regulations, during the design, construction, testing and commissioning stages of the Project. The purpose of the Supervision tasks is to make sure that the Project complies with the following: a) That the Final Engineering, Detailed Engineering and As-Built Engineering are in line with the scope specified in Annex 1 of the Contract. b) That the Supply of Equipment and Materials is in line with the scope specified in Annex 1 of the Contract, verifying that the specifications, minimum requirements and standards set out in the Contract, as well as in good engineering practices, are complied with. c) That the construction and testing of the Project are in line with the scope set out in Annex 1 and Annex 2 of the Contract, respectively. d) That the construction of the facilities is carried out in accordance with the timetables and schedules of the Contract.
