Common use of Scope of Transportation Services Clause in Contracts

Scope of Transportation Services. SPAN shall provide door-to-door demand response transit services to CITY citizens residing in Xxxxxx County who are Riders in accordance with this Agreement and SPAN's "Transportation Policy and Procedures" which is attached hereto as Exhibit "A" and incorporated herein by reference as though it were set out in its entirety ("Policy"). In the event of conflict between this Agreement and the Policy, this Agreement shall control. In performing services under this Agreement, the relationship between the CITY and SPAN is that of an independent contractor. No term or provision of this Agreement or act of SPAN in the performance of this Agreement shall be construed as making SPAN the agent, servant, or employee of the CITY.
