Screening for Eligibility. a) The Agency shall make all necessary efforts to ensure that Consumers are appropriately screened for eligibility under all other pertinent benefits programs. Funds from Xxxx Xxxxx Part A must be used as a last resort in the payment for Consumer Services. The Agency shall have established policies and procedures for seeking to obtain other funding sources for all Consumers served and for documenting such efforts. The Agency shall ensure that all Consumers are screened for other payer sources including, but not limited to, Medicaid, Medicare, or other available public or private programs.
