Common use of SCREENING STANDARDS Clause in Contracts

SCREENING STANDARDS. 1. There shall be a five-panel screening and the substances to be tested for, and the threshold substance levels that shall be considered a positive test result are as follows: Type of Drug or Metabolite Standard Marijuana Delta-9-tetrahydrocanna-binol- 9-carboxylic acid (THC) 50 15 Cocaine 300 150 Phencyclidine (PCP) 25 25 Amphetamines Amphetamine 1000 500 Methamphetamine 500(a) Opiate metabolites Codeine Morphine 6-acetylmorphine (6-AM) 2000 2000 2000 10(b) Specimen must also contain amphetamine at a concentration of greater than or equal to 200ng/ml. Test only conducted when specimen contains morphine at a concentration greater than or equal to 2000 ng/ml. 2. Should SAMHSA add to or delete from the current panel of controlled substances or alter the initial screening or confirmation levels, the City and the Lodge will meet to discuss revising the list or testing levels to conform to SAMHSA standards. Employees will be notified, in writing, of such changes.
