Section 17.5.1. The Employer agrees to pay for the cost of the test and the test shall be administered by an 8 independent and qualified laboratory or individual. In the event that an immunoassay test is positive for marijuana or hashish, the Employer agrees to instruct the laboratory to conduct a confirming GC/MS test. The Employer also agrees to instruct the laboratory to conduct the 11 confirming GC/MS test within twenty-four (24) hours (excluding weekends) of the time the 12 Employer is notified of the positive immunoassay test. A weekend shall be deemed to run from 13 5:00 p.m. on Friday to 9:00 a.m. on Monday.
