Common use of Section 9.1 Clause in Contracts

Section 9.1. 33 The seniority of an employee shall be established as of the date on which he/she was hired by the 34 District into this bargaining unit (hereinafter "hire date") unless such seniority shall be lost as 35 hereinafter provided. If two or more employees have the same bargaining unit hire date, the tie will be 36 broken by referencing the employee’s original district hire date, outside the bargaining unit.

Section 9.1. 33 14 The seniority of an employee within the bargaining unit shall be established as of the date on which he/she was hired by the 34 District into this bargaining unit 15 employee began continuous daily employment (hereinafter "hire date") unless such seniority shall be 16 lost as 35 hereinafter provided. If two or more employees have the same bargaining unit hire date, the tie will be 36 broken by referencing the employee’s original district hire date, outside the bargaining unit.
