Common use of Section Hold Over Pay Clause in Contracts

Section Hold Over Pay. If a driver is held over twelve (12) hours, he shall be paid for all time held over the twelve (12) hours up to a maximum of ten hours in the first twenty-two (22) hour period from the time the run ends. The same principle shall apply in each succeeding twenty-two (22) hours. If he is required to perform hourly rated work during the hold over period. he shall be paid his regular hourly rate of pay for such work and this pay shall be in addition to the pay he receives for all time held.
