Seek Election. Employees may seek election to municipal and school board offices, provided there is no conflict of interest and the duties of the office do not adversely affect the performance of the employee at the College.

Employees may seek election to municipal, provincial, federal, First Nation, Indigenous and school board offices, provided there is no conflict of interest and the duties of the office do not adversely affect the performance of the employee at the College. The employer shall grant, on written request, leave of absence without pay and without loss of senority for such leave.
