Common use of Seniority and Benefit Accumulations Clause in Contracts

Seniority and Benefit Accumulations. An Employee shall retain and shall continue to accumulate seniority while on all approved leaves of absence unless otherwise specifically provided in one of the Leave of Absence Sections of this Agreement. Benefits such as paid leave days shall not accrue, continue or be paid during any leave of absence in excess of thirty (30) calendar days unless otherwise specifically provided for in this Agreement. There shall be no duplication or pyramiding of leave benefits or types of absences.
