Common use of Seniority Employee Clause in Contracts

Seniority Employee. A seniority employee is an employee employed by the Port who has worked in the bargaining unit at least 1,560 hours in a twelve (12) month continuous period of time. Once an employee attains seniority employee status, seniority shall be retroactive to their date of hire in the classification.

Seniority Employee. A seniority employee is an employee employed by the Port of Seattle who has worked in the bargaining unit at least 1,560 3,120 hours in a twelve (12) 24-month continuous period of time. Once an employee attains seniority employee status, seniority shall be retroactive to their date of hire in the classification.
