Seniority Layoff - Recall. 12.01 (a) All new employees shall be considered on a probationary basis for the first four hundred and seventy-five (475) hours of work with the Company within any period of twelve (12) consecutive months. Employees shall be considered probationary employees until they have become eligible for the seniority list and probationary employees shall not have any seniority rights. Upon completing the probationary period, an employee shall be entitled to have their name placed on the seniority list and employees' names shall appear on the seniority list in the order of their respective dates of hiring. Effective March 1, 2011, all employees hired on the same day will be put into a lottery to determine their placement on the seniority list. The retention of probationary employees shall be at the discretion of the Company.
