Common use of Separate Series Clause in Contracts

Separate Series. Pursuant to the provisions of the Articles of Incorporation, each Portfolio is a separate series of the Corporation, and all debts, liabilities, obligations and expenses of a particular Portfolio shall be enforceable only against the assets of that Portfolio and not against the assets of any other Portfolio or of the Corporation as a whole.
