Serious Disruption Sample Clauses

Serious Disruption. When a student is seriously disrupting the instructional program to the detriment of themselves and/or others, the employee will take appropriate action. Any student removed from class at any time by an employee shall be directed by such employee to the principal. If the principal is not in the building, the student will be sent to the principal’s designee. Following action by the principal or designee, the student may be returned to the classroom with written communication to the teacher regarding next steps. When, at the time of removal of the student from the class, the employee requests a meeting with the principal, the student will not return to that class until a meeting between the administrator or their designee and the employee has taken place.
