Common use of Service Fee Payers Clause in Contracts

Service Fee Payers. Bargaining unit members not joining the Association shall pay a service fee to the Association as determined in accordance with the legally permissible MEA policy and procedures regarding objections to political- ideological expenditures. The remedies set forth in this policy shall be exclusive, and unless and until the procedures set forth therein have been availed of and exhausted, all other administrative and judicial procedures shall be barred.
