SERVICE OF NOTICES AND REQUESTS FOR HEARING. Any notice or request for hearing shall be deemed served when it is delivered in person to the employee to whom it is directed, or when it is deposited in the United States registered or certified mail, postage prepaid and addressed to the last address the employee has given the Office of Human Resources or, in the case of requests for hearings from employees, addressed to the District.
