Split Shift Differential - Compensation. All employees whose regularly assigned shift contains one or more periods of unpaid time which exceeds ninety (90) minutes shall be paid a shift differential premium of seven (7%) above the regular rate of pay for all hours worked.

Split Shift Differential - Compensation. 6.11.1 All custodians in the bargaining unit whose 8-hour shift contains one or more periods of unpaid time, the total of which exceeds one (1) hour, shall be paid a shift differential premium of seven and one-half percent (7-1/2%) above the regular rate of pay for all hours worked.

All Unit members who are required to work a broken shift shall be paid for actual hours worked, plus an extra hour per day as compensation for the broken shift. For this purpose, a "broken shift" is defined as a schedule providing one break of one hour or more or two or more breaks during a normal working day, exclusive of the lunch break.
