Common use of Service promotion Clause in Contracts

Service promotion. 12.1 Patient access to the service is via NHS 111. It is important that patients receive accurate information about pharmacies that provide the service and so pharmacies must ensure any changes in their information are updated on the DoS by contacting the local NHS England team as per usual processes 12.2 This service must not be actively promoted directly to the public by either the pharmacy contractor or the NHS to ensure that it is only used by patients for cases which otherwise would have led to a referral to a less appropriate patient pathway.
