Service to the University. (a) Faculty have the responsibility to participate in work of the University (as provided in Article 33) through membership on appropriate bodies such as Senate and university-wide committees. (b) Faculty Members have the responsibility to participate in the functioning of their Departments, Schools and the University (as provided in Article 33), including attendance at Department and School meetings. Such participation includes the development of content and other requirements for academic programs.
