Transfer and Reassignment. SECTION 1. An employee's basic wage shall be adjusted during the term of this Agreement in the event of a change (other than one of a temporary nature) in the employee's assignment or location, based upon the Company's determination that any one of the following conditions exists:
(a) Transfers of employees from one Locality Wage Group to another Locality Wage Group without a change in job title and from one job title to another job title with the same maximum rate.

These matters as they apply to individual employees affected shall be grievable within the provisions of the Grievance Procedure in the Agreement as defined in Article 4, Section B.1.b. except for the provisions below that are underlined which are grievable under Article 4, Section B.1.a.
Transfer and Reassignment. 12.1 Reassignment is defined as a change of assignment between departments within a school or job site.
12.1.1 Involuntary reassignment shall not be made in an arbitrary fashion.
12.1.2 Voluntary reassignments shall consider the recommendation of the receiving department chair, the needs of the job site for teachers within the subject matter area the teacher wishes to leave, and the criteria in Article 12.3.5. Teachers with five (5) or more years of service in a SPED assignment shall not be denied a transfer request when a vacancy exists subject to the following: A qualified replacement has been hired prior to the District’s annual transfer meeting; and a maximum of three (3) teachers based on District-wide seniority are eligible for this exemption and must apply prior to March 1.
12.2 Transfer is defined as a change from one work site, to another work site within the District.

Transfer and Reassignment. The District and Association recognize the desirability of making assignments that consider the interests and aspirations of employees. To this end, the District will make transfers and reassignments requested by employees in accordance with the provisions of this Article. In the event of a layoff, however, the voluntary transfer and reassignment procedures may be set aside.
Transfer and Reassignment. 15.1 As used in this article, the term “transfer” means a change of college location of an employee within the same job classification, and a "reassignment" means a change of department or work location at the same college and within the same job classification. An employee's relocation to voluntarily accept a promotion is not covered by this article.
