Setting up an Apple ID Account Sample Clauses

Setting up an Apple ID Account. An Apple ID account must be created for each student using the student’s school email address (xxxxxxxxx.xxxxxxxx@xxxxxxxx.xxxxxxxxxxxxxx.xxx). It is important to create the account using the student’s school email address in order to keep personal Apple accounts separated. This account should be considered a parent account; however, if a student is thirteen years old (minimum age defined by Apple), parents can choose to give their child control of the account by giving them the account password. The Apple ID account will allow students to back up the content on the iPad onto an iCloud account. Also, when we are pushing out school approved apps, this account will give the student or parent the ability to download those apps via the Self Service app on their iPad. If a parent chooses not to give their child control of the Apple ID account, when an app needs to be pushed onto the machine, the student will bring the device to their parent to enter the Apple ID password.
