Settling of Grievances. An xxxxxxx effort shall be made to settle any grievance fairly and promptly in the following manner: The employee concerned, together with the appropriate Federation Representative, shall verbally present the complaint and redress sought to the Appropriate Supervisor within ten (10) working days of the circumstances which led to the complaint, or employee(s) becoming aware of the circumstances leading to the grievance, but not thereafter. The Appropriate Supervisor shall reply in writing within ten (10) working days after verbal presentation. The grievance shall contain: i) a description of how the alleged dispute is in violation of the Agreement; and ii) the clauses in the Collective Agreement alleged to be violated; and iii) the relief sought; and iv) the signature of the duly authorized official of the Bargaining Unit.
