Severability and Right to Re-Open. In the event any of the provisions of this Agreement are or shall become invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by reason of any Federal or State Law, Local Ordinance, Decision of any Court, or Ruling of any Federal or State Board, Agency, or other governmental entity such invalidity, illegality, or unenforceability shall not affect the remainder of the provisions of this Agreement. If any such event occurs, at the request of either party, the Union and the Employer shall meet and negotiate in good faith for the purpose of bargaining over the effects of the invalidity, illegality, or unenforceability of the provision or provisions.
