The parties recognize the importance of the statement of shared governance as developed by the YSU Excellence Steering Committee and endorsed by the Academic Senate, “Principles and Practice of Shared Governance” (November 1, 2017), and adopted by the YSU Board of Trustees on December 7, 2017. However, both parties agree that Article 1.2 shall not be subject to the grievance procedure.
