Common use of Shift Alterations Clause in Contracts

Shift Alterations. 6.04.01 Occasional changes to an employee's shift may occur as a result of changes to flight schedules, training, increases or reductions of staff, absences of employees on vacation, time off for union business, leaves of absence and sick leave. 6.04.02 Employees will be provided with at least twenty-four (24) hours notice in writing for a change of the start time of a scheduled shift and at least two (2) calendar days notice for a change in scheduled days off. These time limits may be reduced by mutual agreement between the Company and the affected employee.
