Common use of Shift Definitions Clause in Contracts

Shift Definitions. (i) “Day Shift” is a shift which commences and ceases wholly within the spread of ordinary hours set out in subclause 13.1; (ii) “Afternoon Shift” is a shift which is not a day shift and which finishes after the ordinary hours identified in subclause 13.1 and at, or before, midnight; (iii) “Night Shift” is a shift which is not a day shift and which finishes after midnight and at or before 6.00 am.

Shift Definitions. (i) “Day Shift” is a Shift means any shift which commences worked between the hours of 6:00 am and ceases wholly within the spread of ordinary hours set out in subclause 13.1; (ii) “6:00 pm. Afternoon Shift” is a Shift means any shift which is not a day finishing after 6.00pm and at or before midnight. Night Shift means any shift and which finishes after the ordinary hours identified in subclause 13.1 and at, or before, midnight; (iii) “Night Shift” is a shift which is not a day shift and which finishes finishing after midnight and at or before 6.00 am8.00am.

Night Shift” is a Shift - will be any shift which is not a day shift and which finishes starts on or after midnight and at or 1900 hours but before 6.00 am0600 hours.
