SHOP CONDITIONS. Section 3.01 The Employer agrees that all present employees covered by this Agreement except new employees during their probationary period shall, as a condition of employment, become and remain members of the Union in good standing. SHOP CONDITIONS. (c) For the duration of this Agreement.
Section 3.03 present contract or any renewal thereof, the Employer agrees to deduct Union initiation fees and dues in such amount as Local No. 1063 shall determine and provide for its members generally, from the pay o f each employee who has signed a properly approved authorization card. The Union shall officially, in writing, notify the Employer o f its current initiation fee and monthly dues, and if there is any change, notice of the change will be given to the Employer in writing. The Employer agrees that when new employees are hired, they shall sign an Application for Membership in the Union, deduct Union initiation fees and also, dues on a Union Dues and Initiation Fee Deduction form on the date of hire, such forms to be supplied weekly basis as set forth by the Union and its by-laws. Dues shall be remitted on a monthly basis to the Local Union. The Union will indemnify the Employer for all claims arising out o f the Employer’s compliance with the check-off procedure.
(d) In the event that Section 14 (b) of the Xxxx-Xxxxxxx Act is repealed, the Employer agrees to meet with the Union within thirty (30) days to negotiate on the issue o f Union security. In the event that no agreement on Union security has been reached by sixty (60) days following the repeal o f Section 14 (b), the “ No Strike, No Lockout” clause shall be waived. In the interest o f promising cooperative relations, the Store Manager will forward this form introduce each new employee in his store to the Union at Shop Xxxxxxx within one (1 ) week after the same time as new employee reports to work. At this meeting, which shah take place during working hours, the Shop Xxxxxxx shall give the new employee a copy of the contract and shall explain its operations. The Shop Xxxxxxx may answer any questions the new employee asks him, may request the new employee to join the Union dues are remittedand make arrangements for the new employee to become a member.

Section 3.06 If an any employee is absent and has not sufficient pay to his credit his Union dues shall accumulate and shall be deducted upon his return to work. New employees shall be required to pay dues for the month in which their probationary period terminates provided the date of such termination is on or before the fifteenth (15th) day of the month. .
3.07 The Employer will not be required to dismiss or suspend employees from employment who have been expelled or suspended by the Union, unless such expulsion or suspension by the Union was for non-non- payment of Union initiation fees or monthly Union dues.
Section 3.08 All remittances to include names and social insurance numbers of employees from whom such monies were deducted.
3.09 The Union agrees to save the Employer shall show harmless and to indemnify the yearly Union monthly dues deduction on Employer with respect to any claim made against the Employer by any employee, group of employees’ T4 slips, or the Union, arising out of the operation of Article 3.

SHOP CONDITIONS. Section 3.01 The Employer agrees that all present employees covered by this Agreement except new employees during their probationary period shall, as a condition of employment, become and remain members of the Union in good standing.
Section 3.02 All employees hired on and after the signing of this Agreement Agreement, shall, as a condition of employment, employment become members of the Union as soon as their probationary period is completed, and maintain such membership in good standing for the duration of this Agreement.
Section 3.03 The Employer agrees that when new employees are hired, they shall sign an Application application for Membership membership in the Union, and also, a Union Dues dues and Initiation Fee Deduction initiation fee deduction form on the date of hire, ; such forms to be supplied by the Union. The Employer will forward this form to the Union at the same time as the Union dues are remitted.
Section 3.04 The Employer agrees to deduct regular monthly Union dues as prescribed by the Union in writing from the first pay due each eligible employee in each month week and to remit the monies so deducted on or before the fifteenth (15th) day of the following month. Eligible employees are those for whom the Union has supplied the Employer with dues deduction authorizations. The Employer further agrees, on receipt of proper authorization, to deduct the Union initiation fee in two (2) equal weekly instalments within thirty (30) calendar days immediately following the completion of an employee’s probationary period, and to remit such deductions to the Union.
Section 3.05 The Employer will, at the time of making each remittance to the Union, specify the employees from whose pay such deductions were made, and if no deduction is made, specify the reason. Remittances are to include names and social insurance numbers of employees from whom such monies were deducted. The Secretary-Treasurer of the Union shall notify the Employer by letter upon the signing of this Agreement of the amount of monthly dues, and shall keep the Employer informed of any changes during the term of this Agreement.
