Common use of Sick Leave Benefit Plan Clause in Contracts

Sick Leave Benefit Plan. The Board will provide a Sick Leave Benefit Plan which will provide sick leave days and short term disability coverage to provide protection against loss of income when ill or injured as defined below. An employee, other than a casual employee as defined above, is eligible for benefits under this article. Sick leave days may be used for reasons of personal illness, personal injury, personal medical appointments, or personal dental emergencies only.
