Sick Leave Cash-Out/Conversion to PERS Service Credit. (1) PERS (a) PERS members hired prior to January 1, 2005, with more than twenty (20) years of City service, shall be eligible to cash out sick leave and/or convert sick leave to PERS service credit upon separation as follows:
