Sick Leave Notification and Verification. Employees must notify their supervisor as soon as reasonably possible when they will be absent due to illness or injury. For absences of three (3) or more consecutive days or where there is a reason to suspect sick leave abuse, the Employer may require the employee to present a physician’s certificate verifying the need for sick leave before leave is authorized.
