Common use of Signing Performance Evaluations Clause in Contracts

Signing Performance Evaluations. (a) An employee shall be given an opportunity to sign all evaluations and assessments of his/her work performance. The employee's signature on these evaluations and assessments shall not be construed to mean agreement with the evaluations or assessments but merely receipt of same. If the employee refuses to sign any evaluations or assessments, it shall be indicated on the evaluation or assessment that it was presented to him/her and he/she refused to sign it.
