Site Evaluation. Contractor shall perform an evaluation of the Site for the Project and make recommendations relating to scope, constructability, and schedule of the Project. Contractor shall also review the scope of necessary demolition work, if any, to develop a hazardous materials removal plan. The purpose of this evaluation is to improve the Project’s design and minimize unforeseen conditions. At Owner’s request, Contractor shall provide the results of its evaluation in written form to the Owner.

Site Evaluation. At no cost or expense to Buyer, Company shall furnish Buyer with site preparation studies, which shall include, but not be limited to, power, air conditioning, and operational considerations with respect to the Equipment. Company's personnel shall coordinate their activities with and avoid interference with Buyer's employees and construction contractors working to prepare the Installation Site (as hereinafter defined) for receipt of the Equipment. A pre-installation instruction manual will be provided to Buyer by Company upon request.
Site Evaluation. The INSTITUTION will conduct an evaluation of the planned facilities to be used by the INSTITUTION for the Study before the performance of the Study and before implementation of the Study. Responsibilities of the Sponsor. To provide the INSTITUTION with the necessary background information needed for the appropriate and safe conduct of the Study; To ensure necessary training and orientation of the investigators and other personnel of the INSTITUTION involved in the Study in order to conduct the Study in accordance with the protocol; To register the Study into an open international publication register according to common practice before starting the patient recruitment; To inform the INSTITUTION of the completion of the Study; To provide training for medical personnel who will conduct the pulse oximetry screening; To designate a research assistant to conduct data collection on site; To provide the INSTITUTION with the data and documents needed for conducting the Study and guaranteeing the safety of the participants. The data and documents provided by the Sponsor may be used solely for the conduct of this Study in accordance with this agreement. To act as the employer of the investigators and other personnel conducting the Study; To ensure that during the term of Study set forth in this agreement, the Investigators engaging in the Study do not initiate any other clinical Study at the Study site, which would delay recruitment of participants for this Study; To ensure that qualified and instructed personnel and adequate equipment are available for the Study and that the Study may also in other respects be conducted in safe conditions; To allow participation of the Investigators and when appropriate/needed also other personnel conducting the Study in Investigators meetings and other education arranged by the Sponsor; To ensure that the Investigators are familiar with the details of the protocol and other liabilities and responsibilities defined in this agreement, and that Investigators are committed to act accordingly; To ensure that the participants are not simultaneously involved in any other clinical trials and that they are not participants to any investigations differing from the Study protocol; To allow monitoring and auditing at the Study site to be conducted by the Sponsor through its representatives, as well as domestic and foreign regulatory authorities, and, if necessary, to assist in the executing thereof. The purpose of this evaluation is to improve the design and minimize unforeseen conditions Constructability Review: Provide two (2) constructability reviews one at design development, and one at DSA submittal.. Review the Plans and Specifications and related construction documents for errors and omission, clarity, consistency, and coordination. Builder’s Review shall have an emphasis on ensuring that the project can be completed within available budget, to the level of quality and educational goals desired, and can be completed within the established schedule. Builder shall provide written reports, identifying by page and detail the issues to be discussed and resolved. As part of the constructability review, Builder shall identify areas where value engineering principles could be applied, and identify long lead items. Constructability reviews shall be completed within 2 weeks of receipt of the Architect’s Plans and Specifications. Design/Coordination Meetings: Participate in conference calls with the design team and owner as needed. 12 man-hours are allocated for this task. Value Engineering: Provide value engineering reviews with each constructability review indicating cost savings and schedule impact. Assist the Architect and District in considering operating and or maintenance costs with respect to selecting systems and products for the Project. Schedule: Establish master CPM project schedule which includes all milestone dates including submittal of the guaranteed maximum price proposal, design, estimating, DSA submission, agency approval, bidding, buyout, construction sequencing and durations, preparation and processing of shop drawings and samples, delivery of materials or equipment requiring long-lead time procurements, phasing, and owner move in. Provide schedule updates with each estimate or more often if reasonably required to communicate market conditions.
