Common use of Slash Disposal Clause in Contracts

Slash Disposal. Slash is defined as all debris resulting from logging operations, construction of roads, or other improvements. Upon completion of all provisions of this contract, STATE shall issue a release pursuant to ORS 477.580 relieving PURCHASER of the responsibility for the disposal of slash on the timber sale area. PURCHASER's responsibility shall be continuous until such a release is issued.
