Common use of Sobriety Clause in Contracts

Sobriety. Possession and/or being under the influence to any degree of drugs/alcohol/controlled substances are strictly forbidden by school and district policy and state law. • Upon entry to the dance there will be an evaluation for ALL students to test sobriety. Students are subject to a Breathalyzer test(s) if deemed appropriate by school administration. • Students suspected of being under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol may also be subject to an evaluation at ANY time during the event. • If it is determined that a student is under the influence, parents will escort the student home and appropriate school consequences will be administered. Local law enforcement may be contacted.
