Tardiness. Tardiness shall be defined as reporting to work eight (8) or more minutes after clock in time. For each three (3) occurrences of tardiness in a school year shall constitute grounds for the issuance of progressive discipline as defined in Article 15.
Tardiness. If a Pack Member is going to be late, the Pack Member should do his/her best to contact a leader in their department prior to the start of their shift. If a Pack Member is 6 or more minutes late for their scheduled shift, this is considered tardy. If a Pack Member is tardy 4 hours or more, the tardy will be treated as a No Call/No Show. In rare circumstances, a tardy may be excused without points being issued when the GM and HR Director together determine that weather conditions are extremely severe or in circumstances where we have asked Pack Members to park off site due to limited parking based on high volumes of business. If a Pack Member needs to miss work for more than three consecutive days due to injury, illness, or the injury or illness of a family member, he/she should contact the Human Resources office to inquire about applicable leaves of absence. Non FMLA-Leaves of Absence are approved on a case-by-case basis and/or according to applicable state or federal laws.
Tardiness. A student is considered tardy if he/she is not in their seat when the bell rings.
Tardiness. An employee who is tardy will have such time charged as unpaid time off and may not use PTO.
Tardiness. Notwithstanding any provision to the contrary as may be contained within Section 15.1, the following disciplinary policy regarding tardiness for school bus drivers shall apply.
Tardiness a. A bargaining unit employee is tardy for his/her assigned shift when the bargaining unit employee is not at the designated time clock station or other location designated by management at the start of his/her shift.
b. If the conditions or frequency of the tardiness do not warrant approval of leave, the tardiness may be charged to absence without leave (AWOL) if the tardiness is fifteen
Tardiness. As with absenteeism, tardiness or leaving the job early can cause the District and fellow employees undue hardship. • Tardiness can reach the point of rendering an employee no longer suitable for employment. An employee is considered tardy if he/she is not at or available to his/her workstation at the time specified at the beginning of the workday. • Records will be retained on a fiscal year (July 1- June 30) basis. • During each twelve-month period each employee's supervisor retains the prerogative to excuse a tardy situation for an acceptable reason not to exceed five (5). • With reference to unexcused tardiness, the first two (2) will result in verbal warnings, with the third such situation being recorded as a disciplinary offense and handled as listed above. The fourth unexcused tardy will be handled as the third offense as listed above, with the fifth unexcused tardy being the fourth and final offense as listed above. • So as to assist employees in reversing a trend to unexcused tardies, the written warning will result in a meeting between the employee, the employee's immediate supervisor and/or the building principal. The purpose of the meeting will be to review the seriousness of the trend so as to eliminate future tardiness.
Tardiness. A student is tardy if he or she arrives after the time fixed by the school for the beginning of the morning or afternoon session. If the student arrives after 8:30 am, he or she is marked absent half a day. A record of all tardiness is kept in the attendance register and records. Students are expected to be at school by 7:50 a.m. Those arriving after 7:55 a.m. are considered tardy and must report to the office for admittance. Students will not be admitted into class unless the office has given the student an admittance slip. Students who are consistently absent or tardy may incur academic and behavior consequences. A student who is absent or tardy 6 or more days during a trimester will be considered excessive. Since homework will be collected immediately after the second bell, a student who is tardy will only receive partial credit for homework assignments on that day because the homework is late.
Tardiness. While a tardiness of any kind is not desirable, a tardiness which may result in a group of students being unsupervised is considered very serious.
.1 A tardiness which will prevent a teacher from fulfilling an assigned responsibility must be reported to the building principal as soon as practical after it is known that such late arrival will occur.
.2 The following rules will apply to cases of tardiness: .21 First occurrence - a reminder .22 Second occurrence - verbal warning .23 Third occurrence - written warning .24 Fourth occurrence - pay deduction .3 In cases where a pay deduction is enacted, such deduction shall be to the nearest quarter hour missed.
Tardiness. Each employee is expected to be punctual. Habitual tardiness will be subject to supervisory reprimand. If satisfactory improvement is not made, the Supervisor may make a report to the Superintendent of Schools or designated representative for such action as may be deemed necessary.
