Special and Quarterly Faculty Teaching Workload. Unless otherwise specified in the special or quarterly faculty member’s letter of appointment, workload for such faculty members consists solely of instruction. The teaching load for special faculty will be forty-five (45) quarter credits per academic year; the workload equivalent for special faculty in the library will be defined in the Library P&P. Special or quarterly faculty members assigned duties other than teaching will be given a reduced teaching load to reflect the extent of their additional duties.
