Special Provisions (Certain Tier 1 Members Only. Employees with at least 25 years of service as set forth in Government Code section 31625.3 as of July 2, 2011, and who have 30 years of service credit as set forth in Government Code section 31625.3 shall have one opportunity during the employee’s employment to receive cash payments of seven percent (7%) of earnable compensation for up to twenty-six (26) pay consecutive pay periods.
