Common use of Special Shift Provisos Clause in Contracts

Special Shift Provisos. (a) Where a regular full-time employee is reassigned to a shift other than Monday to Friday, inclusive, the work week shall consist of five (5) consecutive days, and where possible, shall be followed by two (2) consecutive days off, with the first day deemed to be Saturday and the second day deemed to be Sunday. The Employer shall give forty-eight (48) hours' notice prior to scheduled days off to change a scheduled shift.
