Common use of Staffing Standby Clause in Contracts

Staffing Standby. ETO benefits may be used, but will not be considered mandatory, 10 for scheduled workdays missed when a nurse is called off, mandated to unschedule 11 their shift or part thereof, or given the option to go off the schedule any time within 12 the nurse’s shift due to low census, nursing unit closures (for example, on a holiday) 13 or low acuity.
