Stapled Peptide Clause Samples
A Stapled Peptide clause defines the rights and obligations related to peptides that have been chemically modified to enhance their stability and biological activity, typically by introducing a chemical 'staple' to lock their structure. This clause may specify how such peptides are identified, handled, or transferred under the agreement, and can address issues like intellectual property ownership, permitted uses, or confidentiality requirements. Its core function is to ensure that both parties clearly understand how stapled peptides are treated within the contract, reducing ambiguity and potential disputes regarding their use or commercialization.
