Status of Agreement A. This Agreement shall supersede any rules, regulations, policies, resolutions, or practices of the District which shall be contrary to or inconsistent with its terms.
Implementation of Agreement Each Party must promptly execute all documents and do all such acts and things as is necessary or desirable to implement and give full effect to the provisions of this Agreement.
Contents of Agreement This Agreement, together with the other Transaction Documents, sets forth the entire understanding of the parties hereto with respect to the Transactions and supersedes all prior agreements or understandings among the parties regarding those matters.
Purposes of Agreement SECTION 1. The purposes of this Agreement is to promote the settlement of labor disagreements by conference, to prevent strikes and lockouts and to stabilize wages and working conditions in building, heavy highway construction and engineering work in the area affected.
Formation of Agreement A. No agreement between the Parties is formed until all applicable actions have been completed to the satisfaction of Valley Water. Valley Water Project Manager will not issue a Notice to Proceed until all required documents have been submitted and accepted by Valley Water.
Benefits of Agreement Nothing in this Agreement or in the Certificates, expressed or implied, shall give to any Person, other than the Certificateholders and the parties hereto and their successors hereunder, any benefit or any legal or equitable right, remedy or claim under this Agreement.
Authorization of Agreement This Agreement has been duly authorized, executed and delivered by the Company.
PURPOSE OF AGREEMENT 1.01 The purpose of this Agreement is to maintain harmonious and mutually beneficial relationships between the Employer, the employees and the Union, to set forth certain terms and conditions of employment relating to pay, hours of work, employee benefits, and general working conditions affecting employees covered by this Agreement and to ensure that all reasonable measures are provided for the safety and occupational health of the employees.
Severability of Agreement Should any part of this Agreement for any reason be declared invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, such decision shall not affect the validity of any remaining portion, which remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect as if this Agreement had been executed with the invalid portion thereof eliminated, and it is hereby declared the intention of the parties that they would have executed the remaining portions of this Agreement without including any such part, parts or portions which may, for any reason, be hereafter declared invalid.
PRINTING OF AGREEMENTS 35.1 The Company will undertake the responsibility for the printing of the collective agreements as may be required from time to time and will absorb the cost of such printing. This will include the cost of printing updated pages.
