STATUTORY PREGNANCY LEAVE. Upon application, in writing, an employee who is pregnant and who is employed by the Board immediately preceding the estimated day of delivery, shall be entitled to a leave of absence without pay of at least seventeen (17 weeks).

Employees are subject to termination or lay-off as per Article 14 – Layoff and Recall.
