Common use of Stenographic Record Clause in Contracts

Stenographic Record. Whenever the parties agree that a stenographic record should be made of any investigation or hearing provided for in this agreement, the cost will be shared equally by both parties to the dispute. When it is not mutually agreed that such a stenographic record should be made, the party that desires such stenographic record may obtain and pay for it. A copy of such stenographic record will be furnished to the other party to the dispute upon request at pro rata cost. The cost of any additional copies requested by either party will be paid by the party requesting them, whether the stenographic record is taken by mutual agreement or otherwise.
