Common use of Step 2. The Department Director Clause in Contracts

Step 2. The Department Director. 35 Grievances submitted at Step 2 and grievances unresolved at Step 1 36 may be presented by the grievant or his or her Union representative to the department 37 director or his or her designee. Unresolved grievances must be submitted within fifteen 38 (15) days after the response is due at Step 1. The department director will respond in 39 writing to the grievant or his or her Union representative within fifteen (15) days of receipt.

The Department Director. 35 26 Grievances submitted at Step 2 and grievances unresolved at Step 1 36 may 27 be presented by the grievant or his or her Union representative to the department 37 28 director or his or her designee. Unresolved grievances must be submitted within fifteen 38 29 (15) days after the response is due at Step 1.
