STEP I: Oral discussion—Informal Procedure. An employee shall first present their grievance to their supervisor for resolution. Such presentation must be made within fifteen (15) days following the occurrence of the event giving rise to the grievance or fifteen (15) days after the event is known or reasonably should have been known or the grievance shall be deemed waived. The supervisor shall, within (10) ten days thereafter, provide to the employee their answer to the grievance. At any point during the grievance procedure, the grievant may file a written notice to the Superintendent terminating their grievance.
