Informal Procedures. A. The grievant should first discuss the matter with his/her principal or administrator or supervisor to whom he/she is directly responsible in an effort to resolve the problem informally.
B. If the grievant is not satisfied with the disposition of the matter, he/she shall have the right to have a representative of his/her choice to assist him/her in further efforts to resolve the problem informally with the principal or other appropriate administrator or supervisor.
Informal Procedures. If a teacher has a grievance, he/she should first discuss the matter with his/her principal, administrator, or supervisor to whom he/she is directly responsible in an effort to resolve the problem informally. The teacher may pursue the matter with other administrators or supervisors if dissatisfied with the immediate supervisor’s disposition. Association representatives may assist in his/her efforts to resolve the problem at all levels of the grievance procedure.
Informal Procedures. 1. If a teacher feels that s/he may have a grievance, s/he must first discuss the matter with the person directly involved in an effort to resolve the problem informally.
2. The aggrieved person may request that a representative of the Association be present.
Informal Procedures. Within five (5) working days of the receipt of a statement setting forth specific complaints signed by one–third (1/3) of all full–time department members, the department chair shall meet to confer with all members of the department work area. This meeting shall be for the purpose of attempting to find an informal resolution of any complaints set forth in the signed statement. If the complaints are not resolved to the satisfaction of one–third (1/3) of the full–time department/ work area members, the concerned members should next meet informally with the Academic Xxxx to discuss the matter and obtain, if possible, the Xxxx'x assistance in reaching an informal settlement of said complaints. Failing this the department/work area members may then proceed to the formal recall procedures hereinafter described.
Informal Procedures. If a support teacher believes there is a basis for a grievance, he/she should first discuss the matter with his/her principal or immediate supervisor in an effort to resolve the problem informally. The support teacher has the right to be accompanied and/or represented by the Association building representative or a member of the Association with due notice. A grievance may be adjusted informally provided the adjustment is not inconsistent with this Agreement, Board policies, and rules and regulations of the Board, and if the Association representative (or his/her alternate) has been given the opportunity to be present at the meeting and to state the Association’s views on the grievance if representation by the Association is desired by the grievant.

B. If, after such discussion with the supervisor, principal or other administrator, the teacher is not satisfied with the disposition of the matter, the teacher shall have the right to present the matter to and discuss it with the Superintendent.
Informal Procedures. 13.2.1. Every effort shall be made by the grievant and his/her immediate supervisor to resolve the difficulty informally through meeting and consulting. The positions of each party and the background and reasons for the problem shall be stated and explored by the grievant and his/her immediate supervisor at a meeting or consultation period. At all levels in the procedure either party may be accompanied by a representative to advise the party.
