Common use of Student Recruitment and Enrollment Clause in Contracts

Student Recruitment and Enrollment. 2.4.1 The School Enrollment Policies and Procedures set forth in Exhibit D, incorporated herein by this reference, must be used as guidance in the creation and modification of the School Recruitment and Enrollment Plan. Enrollment in the Charter School shall be conducted pursuant to the School Recruitment and Enrollment Plan as developed by the Charter Operator and which must be in compliance with the School Enrollment Policies and Procedures and applicable State law. In all cases, student recruitment and enrollment decisions shall be made in a nondiscriminatory manner and without regard to race, color, national origin, creed, sex, ethnicity, sexual orientation, mental or physical disability, age, ancestry, athletic performance, special need, proficiency in the English language or in a foreign language, or academic achievement in admitting students. 2.4.2 In order to be eligible to enroll, a student must live within the geographic boundaries of the East Baton Rouge Parish School System. 2.4.3 To the extent required herein, the Charter Operator exercise reasonable efforts to recruit and enroll the required number of economically disadvantaged and students with exceptionalities as defined in La R.S. 17:1942 and in accordance with La. R.S. 17:3991(B) and as set forth in Exhibit E, incorporated herein by this reference.
